Dr Suzan Elharmeel has recently taken over an existing urogynae practice.
She has conveniently relocated her rooms opposite Pindara Hospital where she
works. Here she has maintained the urogynaecology/ colposcopy services and
added obstetrics and IVF/ fertility care.
Being an associate of the Royal College of O&G in the UK and a fellow of the
Australian College ensures that she is on top of the most recent guidelines for
both obstetric and gynaecology practices. It also demonstrates to patients and
colleagues her commitment to delivering world-class women’s healthcare.
Dr Elharmeel is a specialist in obstetrics and gynaecology, with a passion in
caring for women through every step of their lives, especially their fertility
journey. Her services cover all aspects of pregnancy from preconception
care, fertility and IVF to antenatal care, both low/high risk and acute obstetric
care. She is on call 24/7 for her patients and also accepts GP shared care.
Being a member of SOMANZ facilitates her obstetric practice
and ensures the high quality care that she provides. She conducts private
deliveries at Pindara Private Hospital.
Dr Elharmeel also provides a broad range of services including general
gynaecology and the management of disorders of menstruation,
pelvic pain, endometriosis, laproscopic surgery, pelvic organ prolapse
and incontinence.
She also has a special interest in cervical/ pap smear abnormalities.
She is a certified colposcopist, giving her patients the guarantee of a
high quality colposcopy assessment. She performs gynaecology
surgery in both Pindara and John Flynn Hospitals.
Dr Elharmeel’s practise offers a holistic approach and a personalised
service that respects her patients’ wishes and ensures they receive the
support and treatment that suits their medical needs as well as their lifestyle.
She is also a senior lecturer at Griffith University and is also a member of
numerous associations which enables her to keep up with the latest
technology and practices, to ensure her patients receive the best treatment
